Local Stadt Jever Brewery expands beer production with the inclusion of other brands
Stadt Jever is a local brewery that has as its reference one of the most traditional German restaurants in the Capital Belo Horizonte, with the same name. This brewpub is on the minds of the local citizens when it comes to a bar that offers a Germanic atmosphere, with Bavarian cuisine and good craft beers.
In this
sense, the brewery's management began to manufacture beers on tap to serve the
pub and in cans, to serve customers in general, with several styles in the
portfolio such as Pilsen, Wit and IPA. The demand for good beers has increased since
then. During the process of business expansion, increasing with more equipment in
the factory, directors though: why not produce other beers, from friends,
co-workers and allied companies?
They rolled up their sleeves. Open the doors to meet new coleagues. In this first international foray, the company made beers from the famous American brewery, Ballast Point. And the celebration of this achievement will be on June 30th, at the factory’s brewpub, in the Savassi region, in Belo Horizonte.

About Ballast Point Brewing Company
It is an
American brewery founded in 1996 by Jack White in San Diego, California.
started in the back of Home Brew Mart, a homebrew supply store that White
founded in 1992. As of 2015, it was the second-largest brewery in San Diego
County and the 17th-largest brewery in the country based on sales volume.
Ballast
Point was also the first micro distillery in San Diego since Prohibition. The
brewery was sold to Constellation Brands for $1 billion in 2015. Its distillery
business was spun off to a new company, Cutwater Spirits, in 2017 and later
acquired by Anheuser-Busch in 2019.
